I'd just like a meal cooked for me (no doubt I'll help with the clearing up or only half of it will be done!!). We've eaten lots of curries recently and I'm also looking for changes. Have you tried Nasi Goreng? There are plenty of online recipes. My husband was brought up in Malaysia so this is one of his favourites. He makes it with the full works - chicken, ham, prawns, peanuts and a fried egg on top, but you could make it vegetarian/vegan and let everyone add what they want to it. You can also make it as spicy (add more chillies and ginger) or as bland as you like, and add chilli sauce afterwards for those who like it really hot.
