Deciding to leave a well paid job is a big step. Would we manage with less income? Would I feel lonely and worthless being at home again? Far from it! I have stumbled across a deep sense of satisfaction. The freedom to be creative and fill my home with hand crafted treasures, having the time to plan and cook healthy meals for my family and the time to 'Just Be'. Living a simple life is truly something to aspire to for everyone.
Oh yes, I had a day of that last week, prompted by the fact that the door had fallen off the filing cabinet!! I had every council tax bill for the last 20 years!! WHY??? It will now be fodder for the chimanea x
I know what you mean. I can't seem to make any progress and in fact am revisiting tasks repeatedly because I haven't quite got them right first time round!! I think I need to adopt a more mindful approach :)

Yes very much so at the moment, get up at 6 do a couple of hours sorting, boxing up, cleaning, go to work, get home paint, de-clutter ..... on and on. I was only saying at work today I would love a week off but not much chance of that! Desperate to get off this wheel now!
Yep .... there's a lot of folk feeling like that at the moment :-(
I've spent far too long at the computer this week just keeping myself away from the 'normal' day to day jobs that have been filling my time with the same old, same old.

ReplyDeleteI'd really like to get off this merry-go-round before I get thrown off!! Poor little hamsters!
DeleteFrequently! I'm about to start sorting out paperwork.....it just seems to keep on accumulating, feel like I'm drowning in it.

ReplyDeleteThat clip makes me giggle every time, BUT my own inability to get off the 'wheel' frustrates the heck out of me!
