Totally unnecessary spend

I had my physio yesterday morning. She was such a quietly spoken, lovely young lady, but once she had me face down and vulnerable, she was tough and fierce!! Today, I feel as if I've been kicked in the back, but I'm sure it will sort it out over time.....

After that, I decided to treat myself....

I've been wanting a tattoo like this one for a while. I have two other small ones, one on my ankle and another well hidden (!). I know it's a totally unnecessary expenditure and one which certainly won't appeal to everyone, but I don't buy clothes, makeup, toiletries other than the basics, jewellery, magazines or have any expensive hobbies, so I treated myself :)
It also hurt A LOT less than the physio!

  1. I love the tattoo. Hope the physio helps you - eventually!

  2. I love the tattoo, money extremely well spent. I have two tattoos as well one on each arm and they mean the world to me, although I forget they are even there most days. I've been tempted to get another one for a while :-)

  3. Love your tattoo. Simple but lovely. I have a cross and text on my upper arm. Saving up for another one. Like you, I don't spend much on other stuff. Pam in Norway

  4. I don't have any tattoos but I'm not against them. Both my daughters have them its a sign of the times. Perhaps I'll celebrate and have one for my 60th next year. I've always wanted a small sunflower but I don't know where! ;0)

    1. My mother would have had a fit so I didn't have any obvious ones done whilst she was alive just to avoid the daily repercussions! My advice to my children is to have one where you can cover it if you need to (for an interview or something similar).

  5. I always said that when I was 60 I would get a tattoo and travel in an airplane. Well that's 10 years ago now and I have managed to fly a couple of times .Terrified both times. (I know people who LOVE flying) but still no tatoo. Maybe for my 70th in a few months time.
My daughters and granddaughter have tattoos. Some I like, some I'm not so keen on.

    1. Why not have a small one for your 70th? A good tattoo place will tak you through it and do a transfer version of it to make sure you're happy with it before proceeding! My daughter said she had been 'out cooled' by her parents! :)

  7. My elder daughter has 2 tattoos and my younger daughter has 7 with her 8th planned for the new year. Me and hubby don't have any but both of us have toyed with the idea more than once over the years.
